At Mudgeeraba Creek State School we support students and their families through a variety of services and programmes:
English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D)
Does your family speak English as an additional language or dialect?
Mudgeeraba Creek supports students who speak English as an additional language or dialect to participate in their classroom. We have an experienced EALD teacher who provides assessment and teaching support to classroom teachers to meet the unique learning needs of these students.
Learning support in literacy and numeracy
Class teachers provide differentiated learning for students in their class. Classroom teachers are supported by the Student Services Team and Teacher Aides to identify needs of individual students and deliver a variety of targeted interventions to support students in their learning.
Psychologist, Guidance Officer and Speech Language Pathologist
The school has access to a Psychologist, Guidance Officer and Speech Language Pathologist who work part time at the school.
