Welcome to The Creek — a place where every child is known, valued, and inspired to achieve their best. We are
delighted that you are joining our vibrant and caring school community. We are looking forward to learning together and growing together.
Nestled in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland on Kombumerri Country, Mudgeeraba Creek State School is a co
educational primary school catering for students from the Preparatory Year to Year 6. Our school is built on
three core values — Friendship, Achievement and Respect — which guide everything we do. These values
shape our expectations, our relationships, and our approach to learning, helping every student to grow as a
learner and as a person, both in and beyond the classroom.
We are proud of our strong culture of learning and our unwavering commitment to delivering the Australian
Curriculum to a high standard. Our classrooms are well-designed, fully air-conditioned, and supported by
outstanding facilities including a Performance Centre, specialised learning areas, and a Digital Technology Lab led by a
specialist Digital Technologies teacher whose programs are highly engaging and challenging. Our students also enjoy
a dynamic music program with opportunities for instrumental music, and from Years 5 to 6, they experience
Japanese language and cultural studies taught by a dedicated specialist teacher.
Mudgeeraba Creek has a long and proud tradition of high expectations for all children. Our experienced and
passionate staff implement differentiated and engaging curriculum to ensure that every child receives the right
balance of support and challenge. We value open and transparent communication with families, knowing that
the best outcomes are achieved when parents and teachers work in close partnership.
Student leadership is actively encouraged through individual goal setting, participation in our Student Council,
and a wide range of opportunities to contribute to school life.
In 2025, we were excited to partner with The Resilience Project, an initiative that supports students, staff, and
families in developing the key pillars of Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness. This partnership will further
strengthen the wellbeing and emotional literacy of our school community — helping our students to thrive
both academically and personally.
Our success is deeply connected to the engagement of our families. Mudgeeraba Creek State School enjoys an
active and supportive parent community that plays a vital role in making our school a true school of choice in
the Mudgeeraba area. Together, we create a safe, supportive, and high-achieving environment where every
child is encouraged to flourish.
We welcome your interest in becoming part of our school family. To arrange a tour or learn more about
